Whinstone GEOGRAPHY
At Whinstone, Geography is taught through topics as well as discrete lessons. Children begin by learning about their local area and then move on to learning about the United Kingdom. As they move through school they broaden their knowledge and discover countries and environments around the world. Our Geography curriculum is coherently planned into the following sequence of topics:
