Whinstone PSHE

Our Personal, Social, Health and Economic education (PSHE) curriculum further enhances our Rights Respecting ethos and culture by giving our children the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to become confident, healthy and independent global citizens with a clear understanding of the importance of well-being, both physical and emotional. We also have trained Kidsafe tutors who teach various safety lessons across school.  Our PSHE curriculum is coherently planned into the following sequence of topics:

As part of our PSHE curriculum, we have introduced a scheme from Action For Happiness, based on the 10 Keys to Happier Living. It focuses on promoting positive emotional mental health, and a happier approach to life – The 10 Keys to Happier Living that consistently tend to make life happier and more fulfilling. Together they spell GREAT DREAM“.
