Our Personal, Social, Health and Economic education and Citizenship (PSHCE) curriculum further enhances our Rights Respecting ethos and culture by giving our children the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to become confident, healthy and independent global citizens with a clear understanding of the importance of well-being, both physical and emotional. Our PSHCE curriculum is coherently planned into the following sequence of topics:

PSHCE (Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education

As part of our PSHCE curriculum, we have introduced a scheme from Action For Happiness, based on the 10 Keys to Happier Living. It focuses on promoting positive emotional mental health, and a happier approach to life – The 10 Keys to Happier Living┬áthat consistently tend to make life happier and more fulfilling. Together they spell “GREAT DREAM”.
Giving is our focus for the month of November; giving compliments, giving time to help others, and giving kind gestures. We will begin a new theme each month, and will share activities and ideas with you. Giving has already been a great success with pupils. They love giving and receiving compliments and taking time to share good thoughts with others
